It tracks all the casinos in the U.S. that are completely smoke-free. The list contains nearly 1,000 U.S. casinos and other gaming venues with 100% smoke-free indoor-air policies. This number includes at least 167 U.S. gaming venues that have reopened since the shutdown smoke-free, either via a tribal or business policy or as part of state COVID-19 guidelines (NJ, PA, MI).

Some 135 tribal casinos nationwide are smoke-free properties. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, three states – Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan – have temporarily banned smoking inside casinos, and casino operators in Arkansas and Rhode Island voluntarily went smoke-free.

Harrah’s Las Vegas has a 1,000 square foot non-smoking gaming section, which includes reel slots, video poker machines, blackjack, and roulette tables. MGM Grand offers non-smoking gaming tables and a designated nonsmoking slots section in the main casino.

There are more than 1,000 smokefree gambling venues in the U.S. including casinos in a growing number of sovereign Tribes. Casino operators have invested many billions of dollars into new smokefree indoor air casinos in recent years in states like Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, and New York.
